“There is so much potential here as there are water bodies, pastures here and keeping these in mind if we build infrastructure here then tourists from all the world will come in this place that you won’t be able to manage. Cafeterias, hotels will open here and the Pir-ki-Gali will remain open through out the year. I want our incarcerated children to be free from prisons who are jailed in fraud or scam cases”, said Apni Party leader Zaffar Manhas candidate for the Anantnag-Rajouri seat during a road show in Rajouri on Monday (May 6).
Launching a scathing attack on PDP’s chairperson Mehbooba Mufti, Apni Party leader Manhas added, “It is my promise to you people that the forests of Jammu and Kashmir. If Mehbooba Mufti would have wanted she would have freed all these people we asked her to drop these charges but she said leave it and today these children don’t get jobs, they are languishing in jails since the time when 120 people died. Today, Mehbooba is shedding tears and is exploiting our mothers, sisters. When Mehbooba was questioned why 120 youth died in protests in Kashmir, she said why these people agitated and went out on the streets against the security forces. These are elections that are being held and not a movie. Pahari and Gujjars are communities and they have a culture. She changes clothes and speaks in Pahari that I want your votes just like actors do in films.
Hitting at the National Conference, the Apni Party leader said, “The National Conference is responsible for all the conflicts from 1931 to present day. They agreed to succession to India then in 1953 raised pro-Pakistan slogans and got people killed. They should also be blamed for 1987, 1996 and didn’t cared for the corpses of people. They have sold corpses of Kashmiri people and did nothing for them, but did politics only for themselves to remain in power. They are shameless people and Omar Abdullah was also in BJP and Mehbooba Mufti was the first one who formed govt with the incumbent govt. I will leave politics if NC and PDP can prove that they have brought any package for the Kashmir and people of Pir-Panjal region for their political empowerment.
