Rohit Sharma rushed to hospital for scans after injuring his webbing during 2nd ODI against Bangladesh

During the 2nd ODI between India and Bangladesh, skipper Rohit Sharma was taken to the hospital after injuring his webbing while fielding at the second slip.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma witnessed an injury scare during the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh as he was rushed to the hospital for a scan after injuring his webbing during the second over. The Indian captain was fielding at second slip when an edge fell short of him. Sharma looked in pain and walked off the field. He was taken to the hospital for scans.
“India Captain Rohit Sharma suffered a blow to his thumb while fielding in the 2nd ODI. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He has now gone for scans,” BCCI said in a tweet. Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. India made two changes for the match as Umran Malik and Axar Patel replaced Shahbaz Ahmed and Kuldeep Sen for the second ODI.
