Srinagar, January 18 (Gulistan News Tv): Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam expressed his gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, particularly SSP Srinagar, for their swift action against miscreants attempting to create sectarian discord between Shia and Sunni communities in the city.

In a statement, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam said, “I express my gratitude to the police department, especially SSP Srinagar, for taking immediate legal action against those trying to create a sectarian divide. Such incidents must not occur in the future, and this timely action has sent a clear message that no derogatory or inflammatory acts will be tolerated.”

He further emphasized that the law of the land will prevail, regardless of caste, creed, color or sect ensuring communal harmony is maintained.

Grand Mufti appreciated the efforts of the Srinagar Police team for their commitment to maintaining unity and peace in the city. (Gulistan News Tv)
