Kishtwar Administration, Army organise River Rafting in Paddar area

To promote adventure sports and provide opportunity to local youth, District Administration Kishtwar in collaboration with tourism department & Indian Army today organized a Rafting event in Gulab Garh area of Paddar Sub Division.
The rafting rally was flagged off by Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Sham Lal, in presence of Lt Col. 17RR Dul Anshuman Patil, BDO Paddar Anjil Singh and BDO Ravi Kumar besides other sports lovers.
The rally commenced from Gulab Garh bridge and culminated at a point near Tatapani link road with due adherence to all SOPs.
About 300 water sports lovers and locals watched the event as 50 rafters roved through the gushing water of Chenab River.
The event got a promising response from the locals as well as the people from the other parts of the District.
The event will continue tomorrow and all the interesting persons are requested to join the event to make it successful.
