Jan Abhiyan: Public Outreach Camp organised at Kheora – Rajouri

As part of Jan Abhiyan under My Town My Pride, a public outreach camp was today organised here at Kheora on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.
The event was presided over by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rajouri, Imran Rashid Kataria.
During the public outreach program, the locals apprised the ACR about a number of issues and demands of their areas. After giving a patient hearing to the issues projected on the occasion, the ACR assured that immediate corrective measures will be taken to resolve the genuine demands of the public in a phased manner.
Highlighting the online services provided by the Revenue Department, he informed the participants that now the people can apply online for character certificate, income and asset certificate for economically weaker sections, income certificate, marriage certificate, OBC/RBA/ALC/IB certificate, legal heir certificate, Pahari speaking certificate, property certificates etc. He appealed to the public to avail the benefits of these services.
The Public was also sensitized about how to search and view copies of Scanned data online on CIS Portal-http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/ which includes Jamabandis, Girdawaris, Masavis and Mutations etc and were motivated to use the system to access their land records online.
The ACR also laid emphasis upon the officers to maintain close coordination with the public representatives to resolve the people’s issues timely.
He also called for synergised efforts for hundred percent saturation of all Government schemes and effective delivery of varied online services of the Government.
The Assistant Commissioner Revenue also urged the public to participate in the upcoming My Town My Pride 2.0 program commencing shortly in all the municipalities of the district.
