Implementation of UNNATI programme reviewed at Ganderbal

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today convened a meeting to review the implementation of the Project UNNATI programme for providing skill training in the district.
ADDC directed all Block Development Officers to sensitize and motivate the Job Card Holders/ Households registered under MGNREGA in their jurisdiction who have completed 100 days of work under MGNREGA within age group 18-45 years in order to avail the benefits of the scheme by taking training under the scheme.
He also directed them to provide the list of five such beneficiaries from each block in the first instance to provide them training and ACD Ganderbal was asked to provide the consolidated list of first group of the beneficiaries to In-charge RESTI for training purpose.
Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal was also asked to take measures for registering Job Card Holders/ Households registered under MGNREGA in MIS Portal RSETI.
The Director RSETI and Lead District Manager Ganderbal were asked to arrange all the arrangement and logistics for training of the Job Card Holders/ Households registered under MGNREGA.
He urged them to provide training of candidates in those sectors which will create self employment and wage employment in the district Ganderbal.
The meeting was attended by ACD Ganderbal, General manager DIC Ganderbal, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, District Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, BDOs, Lead Bank Manager Ganderbal, in-charge RESTI, District Coordinator Kreshi Vigyan Kendra Ganderbal.
