Khansahib ,Parnewa ,Wager,Shoor, Nuner areas suffering for want of power, water, ration supply. Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front ( JKPDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohd Yaseen has urged for strengthening bonds of mutual trust and understanding between the Centre and people of jammu and kashmir adding that people’s political and developmental needs should be fulfilled as per thier urges and aspirations .

Speaking at a meeting of party workers and senior citizens of Parnewa ,Wager ,Shooru and Nuner areas of Khansahib constituency in central kashmir Budgam on Sunday ,Hakeem Yaseen has strongly vouched for bridging the gap of mistrust between Center and people of jammu and kashmir adding that it was imperative to remove feeling of alienation . He said people of jammu and kashmir have been repeatedly betrayed by the centre in the past and now down – grading the status of the state to Union territory level have not only humiliated but also put them in a shock of uncertainity both politically as well as pscychologically . ” People of jammu and Kashmir are reeling in a dark era of political and social uncertainity and feel beteayed ,” Hakeem Yaseen observed while urging the center to take concrete steps to remove alienation among people. He said restoration of democracy and statehood were the basic Confidence Building Measures ( CBM ) in this regard. He said Center should change law’s to empower Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people rather than changing them to downgrade Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people.
PDF Chairman said that government has miserably failed to provide basic services to the people adding that non availability of adequate power , drinking water and ration has put them to great hardships and miseries . He said road network all over the kashmir especially in khansahib and Budgam areas was in total shambles which has put commuters especially daily passengers ,students and patients to great inconvenience . ” Un- employment and skyrocketing prices of essential commodities were another vital sectors of great public importance where government has utterly failed to deliver ,” Hakeem Yaseen added. He said restoration of democracy was the only option for the process of peace and development in turmoil hit jammu and kashmir.
Hakeem Yaseen asked the party functionaries to educate people about the mechanations of the political parties who thrive on lies ,deciet and emotional exploitation . These parties want to divide communities on religious and regional basis to satiate thier vested interests. ” It was our moral duty to expose and isolate such elements ,” Hakeem Yaseen maintained.
