RAJOURI FEBRUARY, 29: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary chaired a meeting of the officers at PWD Dak Banglow in Sunderbani today. The meeting focused on addressing the issues and grievances of the general public. The Deputy Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to resolve these grievances on a priority basis, ensuring swift and effective solutions to the concerns of the public.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister also took a comprehensive review of the progress of various schemes of different departments and emphasized the importance of raising public awareness about various government schemes and programs. He instructed the District Social Welfare Officer and Assistant Labour Commissioner to organize special camps in the district, particularly in Nowshera and Sunderbani, to educate the public about these initiatives and ensure maximum coverage.
The meeting was attended by the ADC Nowshera, Babu Ram Tandan; ADC Sunderbani, Rajeev Magotra; SE PWD(R&B), Devi Dayal; ACD, Vijay Kumar; DSWO, Abdul Raheem; DMO, Mohd Sayeed; ALC, Pradyot Gupta and other officers.
Later, the Deputy Chief Minister also attended a mega event organised at Guru Ravi Dass Ji temple at Dheri, marking his continued commitment to community welfare and spiritual engagement.
