Udhampur Police rescued 4 Bovines and seized vehicle used for bovine smuggling.
Police team of Police Post Tikri led by Insp. Nishad Ahmed and assisted by PSI Sahil Singh foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 04 bovines were rescued and a vehicle (Tata Safari) bearing registration number JK14B 4733 seized from Tikri chiwk. Accused person (driver of the vehicle) fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on road.
In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation of the case is underway.
