Arms and Ammunition Recovered in North Kashmir

Security forces on Monday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition Dar Mohalla Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday, officials said.

Reliable sources said that Dar Mohalla, Dahama village in Vilgam Handwara, the police found an old cache of arms and ammunition which was dumped in a polythene bag.

They said that the cache, which includes 3 AK-47 magazines, 50 rusted AK-47 rounds, and 28 live pistol rounds, was recovered.

Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the matter and started an investigation.
