Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister, Aijaz Ahmed Khan has demanded protection to the natural resources and jobs for the local educated unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
While holding interaction with the members of civil society and prominent people at Salal, Aijaz Ahmed Khan said that the people in Jammu and Kashmir have been passing through a difficult phase due to the non responsive approach of the LG administration.
“The non-responsive approach of the administration to the public suffering and slow pace of work with multiple other issues, the people are in distress and the Govt has no information about the problems being faced by the people on the ground,” he said.
He further said that the unemployment has grown many folds, and the natural resources have been grabbed by the non-locals snatching the resources from the locals who have become unemployed.
“Apni Party is committed not to compromise with the interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and provide equitable development to both the regions,” he added.
He also highlighted Apni Party policy and agenda on the basis of which the party is fighting against the elements who are bent upon to disturb peace and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the anti-social elements will not be allowed to disturb peace. “We are committed to work for the unity and equality of all the regions and the people irrespective of any disparity,” he added.
He said that the Govt should hold the early assembly elections and restore the statehood to J&K to end the suffering of the people as the LG administration has failed to perform on the ground and win the confidence of the people.
