Women voters outnumbered men on six seats in the valley.

In the first phase of voting in the great festival of democracy, the voters of Chenab Valley have proved to be more aware than those of Kashmir Valley. The women of this area have exercised the franchise extensively.On Friday, the Election Commission released the final figures of the first phase of voting. In this, 61.38% voting took place on 24 seats of seven districts. In this, the voting figures on 14 seats ranged from 60 to 80%. Women voters outnumbered men on seats with female candidates. The highest voting took place on the Indrawal seat and here women voters set an example. On this seat, male voters voted 81.47%, while women voted 82.90%.
