Uddhav Thackeray appeals for votes in Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s stronghold

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray reached out to the people of the Thane district and appealed for votes. The former Maharashtra chief minister made his appeal to a gathering at a programme organised by the Jain community in the suburban area of the district, regarded as a stronghold of the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

“You people said that you could give me your blood. But I don’t want your blood. Give me your votes. We will see the rest.” said Uddhav Thackeray. He also said that he was not an ‘atithi’ (guest) but a part of their family.
