The bodies of two people were recovered from the Godavari river after they went missing in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Sunday evening.
Reportedly, six men had gone for a swim into the Godavari river near Etipaka village on Sunday. Tragedy struck when, due to the currents, four men managed to reach the banks of the river safely while two of them went missing in the river.Soon, others informed police and locals about the incident and a search was launched to trace the two missing men.
The bodies were recovered on Monday.
