Srinagar, Aug 27: A teenager died after receiving an electric shock while repairing appliances at his home in the Kanispora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday evening.
An official told, that a teenager, who was reportedly repairing an electrical appliance at his home in Kanispora, Baramulla, received an electric shock and was injured.
He added that the boy was later shifted to GMC Baramulla, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. He was identified as Amir Ahmad Khan, son of Mohd Yousuf Khan, a resident of Kanispora, Baramulla.
Moreover, his body will be handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities, while police have initiated an investigation.
