The Kashmir Weather Forecast has issued a severe cold wave alert for the next two days, predicting a drastic drop in temperatures across the region.
In Srinagar city, minimum temperatures are expected to plunge to -7°C to -8.5°C. Similar conditions are anticipated in the districts of Budgam and Ganderbal.
South Kashmir districts are likely to face even harsher conditions, with temperatures expected to dip as low as -9°C to -11°C. North Kashmir will also experience significant cold wave conditions.
The weather will remain dry and cold across Jammu and Kashmir until the evening of December 27. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm and avoid exposure to the extreme cold.
