Seema Haider’s identity documents: The Noida Police sent all documents recovered from Seema Haider, a Pakistani national who managed to sneak into India to live with her Indian lover, to the Pakistan embassy in Delhi, for verification of her identity.
Seema Haider is under the scanner after she illegally crossed over to India via Nepal with her four children in May to live with her lover Sachin Meena. Since she was caught by the police on July 4, Seema Haider has been under the radar of security agencies over suspicions of being a Pakistani spy.
Seema Haider’s documents, including her passport, Pakistani ID card and her children’s passports were recovered by the police during investigation. All these documents were sent to the Pakistan embassy to verify whether she is a Pakistani national.
Meanwhile, the police are awaiting a forensic report of Seema Haider’s mobile phone. The police have sent her confiscated mobile to a forensic lab in Ghaziabad for further investigation. The forensic report and confirmation of Seema Haider’s identity from Pakistan are both pending and the investigation will continue until these are received. Once these are confirmed, a chargesheet will be prepared in connection with the case.
