Marking a joyous celebration of Indian independence, the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Language, Sub Office Doda, orchestrated a captivating musical extravaganza in the town hall. The event, organised under the guidance of Cultural Officer Slah-Ud-Din Tahir, showcased a variety of talents from across the district, painting a vibrant tapestry of melodious performances.
Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, SSP, Abdul Qayoom and other functionaries along with a huge audience of locals attended the program anchored by Master Om Prakash Bhagat.
The audience was left spellbound by the mesmerizing voices of the artists who took the stage with renowned performers like Naseem Ul Haq, Farooq Khokar and Pawan Gupta.
The town hall was packed to the brim, buzzing with enthusiastic attendees from all walks of life, including officers and officials from the District Administration of Doda. Their resounding applause and unwavering support amplified the success of the musical gala. Rashid Jahangir, Assistant Cultural Officer, JKAACL Sub Office Doda, was incharge of the programme and managed the event.
At the culmination of the program, the Deputy Commissioner delivered an impactful speech, lauding the efforts of the JK Academy of Art, Culture, and Language in preserving and promoting local culture and traditions. He emphasized the significance of continuing such captivating initiatives and affirmed the district administration’s commitment to nurturing and advancing the local heritage.
The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries including ADC Doda, ADDC Doda, President Municipal Council Doda, ACD Doda, ACP Doda, Deputy Director Employment, Account Officer Doda, District Information Officer Doda, Tehsildar Doda, and BDO Headquarter Doda who collectively applauded the event’s resounding success. The Cultural Officer of Doda concluded the evening with a vote of thanks, further enriching the sense of unity and celebration that pervaded the musical spectacle.
