Rajveer Deol and Paloma’s Debut Film ‘Dono’ Set to Release on October 5, 2023

The release date for the debut film “Dono,” starring Rajveer Deol and Paloma, has been revealed. Rajveer Deol is the younger son of Sunny Deol, while Paloma is the daughter of actor Poonam Dhillon. The cast and creators announced on Saturday that “Dono” is scheduled to premiere in theaters on October 5, 2023. The film is directed by Avnish Barjatya, the son of Sooraj Barjatya.

Rajveer, who recently joined Instagram, shared a “Dono” poster on Saturday, featuring himself alongside Paloma. The poster carries the text, “Dono… two strangers… one destination…” Rajveer’s caption read, “Dono aa rahe hai aapse milne (We both are coming to meet you) in cinemas on 5th October. Directed by @avnish.barjatya, co-starring @palomadhillon.”

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Rajshri announces release date of Dono… 5 October 2023 is the release date of Dono… Rajveer Deol and Paloma make their debut in Dono… Dono marks the directorial debut of Avnish Barjatya.”

The film’s description reveals that it is set against the backdrop of a lavish destination wedding. Dev (Rajveer), a friend of the bride, meets Meghna (Paloma), a friend of the groom. Amid the festivities of the wedding, a heartwarming journey begins between these two strangers who share a common destination. The film is described as an “urban tale that celebrates romance, relationships, and matters of the heart.”

The title track of the film was recently released by Salman Khan and Bhagyashree, the original Rajshri pair who starred in Sooraj Barjatya’s debut film “Maine Pyar Kiya” in 1989.

Sunny Deol had unveiled the first poster of the film on Instagram the previous month. The poster depicted Rajveer Deol and Paloma seated on a beach during sunset, facing away from the camera.
