Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting today amid the ongoing Sudan crisis that has put the lives of thousands of Indians in the nation’s capital city Khartoum at stake. As many as 4,000 Indians are currently stuck in the crisis-hit country.
The meeting was attended by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Secretary CPV Ausaf Saeed and ambassadors to the Gulf countries, who could play an important role in evacuating Indians.
