LG Sinha paid tributes to fallen soldiers of Indian parliament attack

LG Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid tributes to the fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty saving Indian parliament on 13 December 2001 from Pakistan based terrorists.

“Tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the 2001 Parliament attack. The nation will always remain indebted to their exemplary courage, valour and supreme sacrifice”, LG Sinha said on X.

On December 13, 2001,  Jagdish, Matbar, Kamlesh Kumari; Nanak Chand and Rampal, Assistant Sub-Inspectors, Delhi Police; Om Prakash, Bijender Singh and Ghanshyam, Head Constables in Delhi Police; and Deshraj, a gardener, CPWD, had sacrificed their lives while protecting the Indian  Parliament against the terrorist assault. The five terrorists were associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) Pakistan based terrorist outfits who also were killed by the security forces on the same day of attack.
