The number of terrorists killed in an ongoing operation in the Saida Sohal region of the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday increased to three.
Quoting official sources, news agencies, stated that since the operation began late last night in response to gunmen opening fire on the area, security personnel have now killed one further terrorist.
A CRPF man was hurt and one terrorist was killed during the counterterrorism operation that security forces quickly began after racing to the village. But earlier today, the CRPF soldier who was hurt passed away.
According to reports, searches were carried out because security personnel thought that there might be one more terrorist hiding in the civilian area.
