Actress Kangana Ranaut recently took to Instagram to address how she’s often perceived as both ‘badtameez’ (mannerless) and highly talented by her peers, including filmmaker Hansal Mehta and actor Zeeshan Ayyub. Agreeing with them, she humorously dubbed herself the ‘greatest of all times’ or GOAT, drawing a comparison to the vigilante superhero Batman.
Kangana shared, “This is something everyone can agree on, regardless of political differences: I am very mannerless, a bit of a troublemaker, and I have a penchant for the extreme. I’m a bit unruly and quite headstrong. A mix of 40 parts messed up and fiercely talented. That’s the G.O.A.T. vibe. This is what being Batman is all about, and that’s who I am.”
She also posted snippets from interviews with Hansal and Zeeshan, where they praised her acting prowess. Hansal, who had a past disagreement with Kangana during their film “Simran,” acknowledged her remarkable talent, emphasizing that while “Simran” might have been a weaker film, Kangana’s performance was beyond reproach.
In a separate interview, Zeeshan lauded Kangana for her exceptional work in films like “Queen” and “Tanu Weds Manu Returns,” highlighting a phase when her acting was truly outstanding. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, while acknowledging Kangana’s sincerity and remarkable acting skills, noted that dealing with her could be challenging due to other factors.
It’s worth noting that Kangana has had both allies and adversaries in the industry, with many celebrities praising her accomplishments. Lately, she’s been seen at more Bollywood events and gatherings. Her upcoming projects include “Chandramukhi 2,” followed by “Tejas” in October, along with “Emergency” in the pipeline.
