A few days after drawing a comparison between herself and Batman, Kangana Ranaut once again turned to the vigilante superhero in her recent Instagram Stories. On Monday, the actor expressed that over the past year, she has been consistently unwell with various illnesses, emphasizing that even someone as resilient as Batman can experience moments of low spirits and hopelessness.
In Kangana’s own words, shared on her Instagram Stories on Monday, she wrote, “In the last twelve months, I’ve had Dengue, Covid, Delta, Covid – Omicron, and Covid + Swine flu. I have been consistently unwell. This means that everyone, at times, feels low and down, even individuals with strength and resolve, just like Batman (smiley face emoticon).”
She went on to say, “Let’s keep moving forward. Wishing everyone a Happy Festival season (hug and red heart emoticons).”
Regarding Kangana’s affinity for intensity and violence, a few days prior, she took to Instagram to discuss how she is perceived as both ‘badtameez’ (mannerless) and exceptionally talented by her peers, including filmmaker Hansal Mehta and actor Zeeshan Ayyub. She stated, “Both the left and right wings agree on this. 1) I am very uncouth 2) I am both violent and extremist; I appreciate violence, and it reciprocates. 3) I am a bit unruly and very stubborn. I am also immensely and ferociously talented. In other words, G.O.A.T material. This is what they call Batman…that’s who I am.”
She supplemented this with clips from interviews featuring Anurag Kashyap and Zeeshan Ayyub, as well as Hansal Mehta, praising her prowess as an actor and a creative artist. Kangana had collaborated with Anurag in Queen and shared the screen with Zeeshan in Tanu weds Manu Returns. Hansal had directed Kangana in the film Simran.
In terms of her upcoming projects, Kangana is set to appear in Chandramukhi 2, scheduled for release on September 28. Additionally, she has Tejas and Emergency lined up for release.
