Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday replied to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address in Lok Sabha. PM Modi’s speech was disrupted by ‘Justice for Manipur’ slogans raised by the opposition leaders.
The Opposition has on several occasions accused PM Modi of keeping silent on Manipur, which saw intense ethnic violence erupt in May last year.
The continuous ruckus and sloganering prompted Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to reprimand the opposition leaders.
