The mother of DDC Jaganoo Constituency, Prikshat Singh, from district Udhampur, passed away in an unfortunate road accident on Rathyan National Highway on February 16.
According to reports, the mother, identified as Dayawanti, was crossing the road in the evening of February 16 when an unknown vehicle hit her and fled the scene.
She was immediately taken to GMC Udhampur and later referred to Command Hospital Udhampur, where she passed away on the same evening.
The case has been registered under relevant sections, and further investigation is underway.
