Harnaaz Sandhu held back her tears as she walked the stage one last time as the reigning Miss Universe at the Miss Universe 2022 coronation ceremony held in New Orleans, USA, on January 15. The diva walked the stage before she proceeded to crown her successor at the grand event. USA’s R’Bonney Gabriel won the Miss Universe 2022 title.
Dressed in a dazzling black gown with an ornate train, Harnaaz appeared really emotional as she walked the stage. A video of the moment was shared on Twitter on the official handle of the Miss Universe organisation.

Harnaaz Sandhu also embraced her traditional roots and made an appearance in a regal lehenga at the grand finale of the 71st Miss Universe. She wore a heavily-embellished lehenga set with maang tikka and traditional earrings.
At the 71st edition of the Miss Universe pageant, Venezuela’s Amanda Dudamel was the first runner-up and Dominican Republic’s Andreina.
