Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) stated to have arrested the tenth accused in Greater Kailash murder case, over a land dispute.
“Acting swiftly on technical and human inputs, JKP today apprehended Varun Kumar alias Punjabi, a resident of Jalandhar, currently living in Samba,” police said, in its official statement.
The arrest of Varun marks a significant achievement in the instant case FIR No. 39/2024 of Police Station Gangyal over the murder of Avtar Singh on April 30, 2024. The arrest is expected to give significant clues in the ongoing investigation of the case,” police added.
Other nine accuse arrested in this case, so far, included ex-SSP Sheikh Mehmood; Parshotam Singh alias Nikka; Suraj Singh; Sandeep Charak; Vikas Singh; Ravinder Gupta alias Gola Shah; Rajat Jandyal; Sachin Singh alias Sanju and Raghunandan alias Raghu.
