Ganderbal entry point Nagbal crossing to get a facelift

Ishfaq Jabbar, Mayor SMC Junaid Azim Mattu visits Nagbal assured restoration of fountain and installation of beautiful entrance gate at Pandach crossing

Senior Political Leader and Former Legislator from Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar along with Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation Junaid Azim Mattu on Monday visited Nagbal area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

During the visit Mr Jabbar apprised the Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation Junaid Azim Mattu regarding the beautification of entry point Nagbal- Pandach Crossing of district Ganderbal.

Sheikh said that the entry point to District Ganderbal at Pandach crossing gives a very shabby and unattractive look as the area is not properly developed.

He further said that the Ganderbal is the base for several religious and tourist destinations which include Sonamarg, Manasbal, Mata Khirbhawani temple and is also base of Leh Ladakh and Central University of Kashmir.

He urged the Mayor SMC Junaid Azim Mattu to restore fountains and install a beautiful entrance gate on latest pattern at Pandach crossing.

Junaid Azim Mattu on spot passes directions to the concerned to prepare a DPR for construction of entrance gate at an earliest so that there shall be no delay in execution of work.

The locals of the area discussed and put forth their several issues regarding the sanitation facility and providing of street lights in various lanes of the said area.

Mattu assured them that all their genuine demands particularly with regard to providing of sanitation facility and providing street lights as required will be taken care of.

Mr Jabbar was accompanied by concerned PRIs, Socio-political activist Haji Faiz Ahmad Bhat besides a large number of locals.
