There will be no flight operations at the Delhi airport between 10:20 am and 12:45 pm from January 19 to 26 due to the Republic Day preparations.
In a post on X, Delhi airport said that as per a notice to NOTAM (Notice to Airmen), no flights would be arriving or departing from Delhi airport for 2 hours and 15 minutes between January 19 and 26.
Some news agencies also reported that there might be airspace curbs at the Delhi airport between January 19 and 25, and also on January 26 and 29. Citing officials, the reports further said that the move will have no impact on the Indian Air Force (IAF), Border Security Force (BSF), and Indian Army helicopter operations as well as state-owned aircraft/helicopters that are flying with the Governor or Chief Ministers of a state.
