Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad praised PM Modi in a program held in Jammu and Kashmir. He said, how much I criticized PM Modi on many issues but he was very generous towards him and he did not try to take revenge on him despite his strong statements against him on many issues including Article 370 and CAA.
Ghulam Nabi Azad said, ‘I should give PM Modi his due credit, despite what I did to him, he was very generous towards me.
As the leader of the opposition, I did not spare him on any issue, whether it was Article 370 or CAA or Hijab, but despite this he never took revenge on him.
This is not the first time that Azad has publicly praised Prime Minister Modi. In 2021 also he said, he likes the fact about PM in which PM doesn’t hide his past and he is proud of what he used to do and what he did?
In August 2022, Azad said that he thought of Modi as a “brutal man”, but later changed his perception of the PM.
Significantly, on the day Ghulam Nabi Azad’s parliamentary term from the Rajya Sabha was coming to an end On the same day, PM Modi became emotional while praising Azad in the Parliament and tears welled up in his eyes. A few days later, Azad resigned from the Congress and formed his own party.
