Areas across Delhi and adjoining cities like Noida and Faridabad received moderate to heavy rainfall on Saturday morning. A thick blanket of clouds covered the city and adjoining areas, reducing visibility in certain pockets.
Janpath, Connaught Place, India Gate, ITO, Minto Road, Ashram, Akshardham, Anand Vihar, and Mayur Vihar in Delhi and several parts of Noida witnessed rain. There was waterlogging at many stretches as well, slowing down the vehicular movement.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded the possibility of heavy rain with a cloudy sky to continue in the city.
