Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena reshuffled 11 DCPs officials, including 3 women IPS officers

The home department of Delhi government on Thursday reshuffled as many as 11 DCPs (deputy commissioner of police), including three women IPS officers.

According to the orders issued by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, 2010 batch IPS officers Shweta Chauhan (DCP central) and Esha Pandey (DCP south east), have been appointed as DCP general administration and DCP traffic respectively.

They will be replaced by 2011-batch officer Sanjay Kumar Sain and 2012-batch Rajesh Deo respectively.

2011 batch IPS officer Usha Rangnani has been transferred as DCP (special branch) from DCP (northwest). She will be replaced by Jitendra Kumar Meena, a 2012 batch IPS who was posted in the economic offence wing (EOW).

DCP outer-north Devesh Kumar Mahla has been transferred to the IGI airport unit while Ravi Kumar Singh, who was looking after the IGI airport, has been appointed as the new DCP of outer-north district.

Additional DCP of northeast district Ankit Kumar Singh has been transferred as DCP crime branch. Joy N Tirkey, a 2011-batch IPS officer will now lead the northeast district.
