A court in Ajmer, Rajasthan, has refused to hear a petition filed by Hindu Sena president Vishnu Gupta, seeking to declare the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah as a ‘Lord Shri Sankatmochan Mahadev Temple.’ Gupta, through his lawyer, claimed that the dargah was built on the ruins of an ancient Shiva temple. The court, however, stated that it has no jurisdiction over the matter and postponed the hearing to October 10.
