The chief guest on the occasion was former Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Haji Mubarak Gul.
A big number of body builders across Kashmir Valley participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Gul applauded the efforts put in by the team of Jammu & Kashmir Body Building Association in promoting health and fitness among the youth. While addressing the youngsters Gul said that youth must shun the path of drug abuse and urged them to take part in such body building competitions and other sports related activities as sports is the only way to keep youth at bay from drug addiction.
Mubarak Gul felicitated winner of the title Mr. Kashmir 2023 Dr. Rafiq Bhat for his well deserved success and also appreciated the efforts of runner ups and participant body builders.
