J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS, a Police team led by SHO P/S Bani under the supervision of DySP Ops Bani apprehended one Notorious Criminal namely Qasim Mir S/o Mohd Iqbal R/o Chaloge Tehsil Bani District Kathua who is habitual criminal and known for his desperate and habitual criminal activities as well as involved in 08 heinous criminal cases. A detention warrant was issued against him by District Magistrate Kathua.

Accordingly, the warrant has been executed today and he has been lodged in District Jail Udhampur to curtail his criminal activities.

Locals of the Kathua district have appreciated the initiative of Kathua Police.
