Zoom Airlines, formerly known as Zoom Air, has been granted its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), allowing it to resume operations in India. The renewed AOC, issued on September 14, is valid until September 3, 2024. - In July 2018, after a year of operations, DGCA suspended its air operator certificate due to safety concerns. The airline briefly resumed services in October 2019 but was again suspended in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
