Zimadari project celebrated at GDC Kupwara DC Kupwara appreciates stakeholders for better results under ambitious project

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray today said that Kupwara district is known as land of intellectuality and knowledge as it has given birth to many renowned intellectuals.

The DC said this while addressing a function organized by J&K Teachers Forum (JKTF) about the celebration of ‘Zimadari’ project here at Government Degree College Kupwara.

Chairman J&K Teachers Forum, Mohammad Shafi Rather, Principal GDC Kupwara, Vice President/District President JK Teachers Forum and a large number of teachers were present on the occasion.

The DC congratulated the J&K Teachers Forum for conducting the conference for celebrating the ‘Zimadari’ project. He said that Education is the foundation of every society which should be strong at all times.

Referring to the Zimadari project, the DC expressed his delight and said that the project got more positive results on ground than what was expected earlier. He said that it was a joint effort of the District Administration and Schools that the Zimadari project got us overwhelming results.

While appreciating the teachers and other stakeholders for achieving good results on the ground, the DC said that a thanks giving session shall be held separately in coming days to appreciate the good work done by the schools in different segments of the Zimadari project.

Chairman JK Teachers Forum also spoke on the occasion and expressed his gratitude towards the DC for his keen interest towards the education sector particularly for implementing the Zimadari project in the district which has revolutionized the education system in schools of Kupwara district.

Principal GDC, Vice President/District President JKTF and others also spoke and highlighted the progress of the ambitious Zimadari project.
