In an extraordinary achievement, the Zachaldara Community Health Center in Rajwar, Handwara, successfully handled four deliveries in a single night during the winter season. This is the first time such a feat has been accomplished at the center, marking a significant improvement in local healthcare services. Previously, such cases required referrals to GMC Handwara.
Block Medical Officer (BMO) Zachaldara praised the medical teams for their exceptional dedication and preparedness. “Our staff is fully ready to provide healthcare services across all New Type Primary Health Centers (NTPHCs) and Health & Wellness Centers in the Rajwar Block. Their commitment has made this historic night possible,” he said.
