A youth from Soiteng area of Srinagar allegedly died due to medical negligence at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital Srinagar on Saturday.
As per the details, a 19-year-old youth identified as Faisal Ahmad from Soiteng area of Srinagar, who was brought to SMHS on Friday late night died at SMHS on Saturday evening.
Family members and relatives told sources that Faisal complained of some pain in stomach following which he was brought to SMHS during night.
They said that Faisal was fine till he was shifted to ward on Saturday where he was feeling breathlessness and later succumbed.
They demanded high-level investigation in this regard and action against the doctor, who allegedly ran away instead of treating the patient.
