A youth has been found dead mysteriously at Greater Kailash area of Jammu this morning.
According to the report, Hartik Kumar (20) son of Ajay Kumar resident Pahari Mohalla of Jammu city was found lifeless near railway in Greater Kailash, Jammu.
After the discovery of deceased’s body the youth was taken to Govt. Medical College and Associated Hospital in Bakshi Nagar of Jammu city.
The cause of Hartik Kumar’s death is not yet known yet.
A case has been registered at Greater Kailash police station and a probe is on.

Yesterday, a man was killed and three others sustained injuries after falling prey to a road mishap in Chenani area of Udhampur district of J&K. However, a 22-year-old woman ended her life by hanging herself for not getting laptop from her father in Udhampur and a 99-year-old woman lost her life by committing suicide in Bishnah area of Jammu. The centenarian reason’s of taking this extreme decision is not known.
Last year, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Tuesday said that around 78 persons committed suicide in Jammu and Kashmir from 2020 to 2022 by youth due to unemployment.
The MoS informed last year while presenting the State and UT-wise details of suicides committed by people due to unemployment along with the total number of suicides in the country during 2020, 2021, and 2022, said that NCRB does not publish data on suicides among the youth separately.
