According to the police, a 22-year-old man has been arrested, and his minor brother has been detained for the alleged stabbing death of a 17-year-old boy in Swatantra Nagar near Narela, outer Delhi, early Thursday. The incident occurred due to a dispute between the two families, as the accused and the victim were neighbors.
The fatal confrontation occurred in the early hours of Thursday when the two brothers got into a heated argument with the teenager, which escalated into a violent altercation. During the altercation, the 22-year-old man fatally stabbed the boy. The police took both suspects into custody and recovered the sharp object used in the crime.
A PCR call reporting the stabbing was received at 2:14 am at the Narela police station. Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the teenage boy lying on the floor with stab wounds in his neck and abdomen. He was immediately rushed to a nearby government hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The investigation team examined the crime scene and learned that the two brothers, who lived in the same building as the victim, were responsible for the stabbing. The Narela police station registered a case of murder, and the investigation into the incident has been initiated.
