The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is likely to file an FIR against athletes protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar seeking removal of panel chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, sources told India Today.
According to sources, the federation believes that the protesting athletes disseminated disinformation to the wrestlers who were to participate at an event in Gonda in Uttar Pradesh. The protesting players deceived the wrestlers who were to participate in the event by saying that it was cancelled, sources said citing the federation.
