Women’s Premier League was planned in my tenure as BCCI president: Sourav Ganguly

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has said that the Women’s Premier League was a brainchild of his administration during his three-year tenure as the Board of Control for Cricket in India President. In an exclusive interview with India Today, Ganguly has said that women’s cricket has massive potential and that the tournament will not be limited to just 5 teams. On Republic Day, Ganguly has spoken on India’s chances in the ODI World Cup, scheduled to be held in the subcontinent later this year and has explained what India need to do to break the trophy jinx.
