Poonch, Mar 01: The body of a woman has been found at the location of a road accident in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, raising the death toll from the incident to two, while two passengers are still unaccounted for.
The incident occurred in the Kalai region of the district on Thursday when a passenger vehicle lost control and fell into the Dingla river.
Seven passengers were saved with injuries while four individuals were reported missing.
On Saturday, search teams found the body of a woman named Shaheena Akhtar, who was the spouse of Karamat Hussain, a Manjakote inhabitant.
On Friday, teams from the police, NDRF, and SDRF retrieved the body of a man.
SSP Poonch, Shafqat Hussain, stated that search efforts are ongoing, as a woman and her two-day-old baby are still missing.
