A young woman was slipped to death from a hilltop in Khari tehsil of district Ramban on Wednesday, officials said.
They said that Rehana Begum (23), wife of Bilal Ahmed, resident of Khawra Khari slipped from a hill on under construction Kawna – Sirachi link road and fell down in a deep gorge. She was cutting grass for cattle and was expecting mother of second child, the officials said.
The locals rushed the injured lady to PHC Khari immediately where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police have started up the investigation.
