Continuing their war against drug trafficking the Jammu police on Tuesday arrested two drug suppliers.
The cops recovered 9 gram Heroin from Gujjar Nagar based woman while 2 gram heroin was recovered from the Anantnag based man.
Abdul Qayoom resident of Kashmir’s Anantnag district was nabbed by the alert policemen when he tried to flee after spotting them at Peer Mitha. When the accused was questioned by the police he disclosed that he obtained drugs from a woman in Gujjar Nagar.
After getting inputs from Abdul, the cops raided the house of woman drug supplier and discovered 9 gram of heroin from there. She is identified as Nazia Bhat.
A case FIR NO. 19/2024 u/s 8/21/22 of NDPS act of the IPC registered at Peer Mitha police station against the accused.
