Bhagwat said that we do not see our own people. We don’t go to them and talk to them. But some missionary coming from thousands of miles away comes there and lives there, eats their food, speaks their language and then converts them.
In an apparent reference to religious conversions, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that missionaries take advantage of situations in which people feel that the society is not with them.
Bhagwat was addressing a program here, where he dedicated the samadhi of Govind Nath Maharaj. Bhagwat said that we do not see our own people. We don’t go to them and talk to them. But some missionary coming from thousands of miles away comes there and lives there, eats their food, speaks their language and then converts them.
Mohan Bhagwat that during 100 years people came to India to change everything. Bhagwat said that they have been working here for centuries but could not achieve anything as our roots remained strong due to the efforts of our forefathers. He said that efforts are being made to uproot them. That’s why the society should understand that deceit. We have to strengthen the faith.
He said that fraudsters ask some questions about religion to shake the faith. He further said that our society has never faced such people before, that’s why people get suspicious. We have to remove this weakness.
