On Wednesday, UP CM Yogi Adityanath while addressing a public meeting at the District Sports Ground in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, said that when a good government is formed, the wait of five hundred years also ends. With this he pointed towards the construction of Shri Ram Temple.
CM Yogi reached Kathua to campaign in favor of BJP candidate and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh. During this, he appealed to the people to extend their support to make Dr. Jitendra Singh victorious and form the Modi government again at the Centre.
During his address, CM Yogi said that earlier people used to shy away from even taking the name of Ayodhya. He said, ‘Those who are accidental Hindus had rejected Ram and Krishna. When I went to Ayodhya after becoming the Chief Minister for the first time, people said that some people were angry with your coming here, so I replied that seeing the anger of the people, should they give up their faith, should they reject the public faith? He asked the people, ‘Could Congress have constructed Ram temple in Ayodhya? Congress says that Ram never existed and Krishna never existed.
