District Development Commissioner, Dr Vikas Kundal, presided over a public outreach camp at Qila Darhal during the weekly Block Diwas. The event aimed to address important public issues at the grassroots level and redress them in a time-bound manner.
A wide range of demands were highlighted, including the erection of a BSNL tower, the establishment of a polytechnic institute, and the construction of a revenue complex building. Other concerns raised included the paucity of staff in educational institutions, the completion of road infrastructure, and the need for individual claims to be settled under FRA.
Another set of issues discussed during the event related to the speedy implementation of JJM, forest issues, the construction of a bridge, and the inclusion of eligible beneficiaries under PMAY-G.
The officers of different departments also informed the public about various schemes and programs being implemented in the district and urged them to avail of the benefits of these initiatives. Dr Kundal listened patiently to all the issues raised and assured the public that the demands raised would be met within a specific timeframe.
Dr Kundal addressed some of the specific issues raised, including the construction of a bridge at Raipur Kamila and the scarcity of water. He also informed the public about the initiative of the district administration towards making Nasha Mukt Rajouri and appealed for their cooperation in the fight against drug abuse. Additionally, he urged the public to plant more trees to enhance the green cover of the district.
The public and their representatives appreciated the District Administration for their prompt and hassle-free services and urged them to continue working with the same zeal for the betterment of the masses.
